Every time I came home from a salon disappointed, I wrote down what happened. I wanted it to be a list of small mistakes — the kind you tell yourself were one bad day, one bad technician. The folder kept growing.
Gel that peeled in five days when it should've lasted a month. Cuticles cut so roughly they bled. Tools wiped on a towel and used on the next woman. A pedicure that gave me an infection three days later.
