How We Actually Clean Tools Between Clients (Step by Step)

The exact process we follow to disinfect tools after every client in our Kilpauk salon.

  1. Remove all visible product and dirt
  2. Wash with soap and water or ultrasonic cleaner
  3. Rinse under clean running water
  4. Fully soak (including handles) in the correct disinfectant for the exact time on the label
  5. Rinse again
  6. Dry with clean disposable paper towel
  7. Store in a clean, dry, dust-free place — never sealed while damp

Spraying is not enough. Quick dips are not enough. Acetone only cleans; it does not disinfect. This is the process we follow for every single client in Kilpauk.
