How We Actually Clean Tools Between Clients (Step by Step)
The exact process we follow to disinfect tools after every client in our Kilpauk salon.
- Remove all visible product and dirt
- Wash with soap and water or ultrasonic cleaner
- Rinse under clean running water
- Fully soak (including handles) in the correct disinfectant for the exact time on the label
- Rinse again
- Dry with clean disposable paper towel
- Store in a clean, dry, dust-free place — never sealed while damp
Spraying is not enough. Quick dips are not enough. Acetone only cleans; it does not disinfect. This is the process we follow for every single client in Kilpauk.
