Why Alcohol Alone Is Not Enough for Tools

Alcohol evaporates too quickly to fully disinfect metal tools.

Alcohol (70–90%) kills many germs quickly, but it evaporates very fast.

Because it dries so quickly, it often does not stay wet on the tool long enough to fully disinfect. It is also flammable and can dry out skin.

For this reason, we do not rely on alcohol as our main method for disinfecting metal tools.
